We kick off the festival with a top-tier tasting. Catalonia is one of the pioneers in wild, sour, or spontaneous beer. Come and discover the wonders being created firsthand by the brewers themselves. We will have the presence of Màger, La Salvatge, La Calavera, and Santa Pau.
The beers we'll taste:
- La Salvatge: Bufanùvols - Mixed fermentation beer, aged for 14 months in white wine barrels. Refermented with wild yeasts from Puig de Llaés (Ripoll). Cold infused with organic, whole-flower, Girona-grown Lupulina hops.
- Santa Pau: L'Amphora - Beer fermented exclusively with Garnacha grapes macerated for 8 months in amphoras from Quart.
- Màger: Liquid Camo - Liquid Camo is a blend between Sidra Serps and Màger, featuring a one-year spontaneous beer from our barrel number 1 and a selection of cider from Pyrenean apples to make a 50% blend. It undergoes spontaneous fermentation and is re-fermented with fresh apple must.
- La Calavera: Iconoclast - Sour Saison with plums and peaches. Aged for 22 months in red wine barrels from Priorat.
IMPORTANT! Reservations for the activities will close on February 22th to allow us to organize and manage the inventory. Thank you very much.
