FRMNT FESTIVAL is Barcelona’s Fermentation Festival.
A space for fermentation lovers that brings together some of the country’s best fermenters and brands.
The festival has a track record of 3 years and 5 editions. Behind its organization are projects with a strong background such as Lambicus (a benchmark bar and bottle shop for Belgian craft beer in Barcelona) and Ferment Project (a gastronomic project by Brebel Beer that explores fermentation, koji, and food pairings).
In 2023 and 2024, the festival took place in a closed format, hosted at Lambicus Bar and Shop. In 2025, the festival grew, opening to the general public and moving to Nau Bostik. The Market was launched, and the number of activities and speakers increased.
The festival is built around a clear philosophy based on three core pillars:
1. Sharing the passion for fermented products.
2. Spreading knowledge.
3. Creating community, synergies, and networking.
The festival includes:
• Activities, workshops, tastings, and pairings by reservation, held in two
indoor activity rooms.
• A Market with stands and bars, all offering fermented food and drinks.
• Music and outdoor spaces to taste, relax, and enjoy.
• A professional day on Monday, featuring talks and activities. NEW!
In addition, the festival’s flagship activity: the POP UP LUNCH — a curated pairing lunch entirely based on fermented products, with the participation of the guest fermenters and speakers.
