BIOMATERIALS WORKSHOP! OCLOYA STUDIO.
A complete and participatory 3-hour workshop where biomaterials will be explored and created from organic waste.
ACTIVITY GIVEN IN SPANISH
No need to bring any materials. Just a pen or pencil for taking notes.
Participants will take home a portion of the biomaterial created. (It must be picked up from Lambicus Shop within a few days).
Come and discover how to create biomaterials with Loana Flores from Ocloya Studio. A clothing and textile designer, graduated from the University of Buenos Aires, with a postgraduate degree in sociology of design, and various masters in sustainability and technologies applied to fashion.
She is the founder of Ocloya Studio, a creative project focused on research into the relationship between textile, artistic, and technological practices, with the aim of developing new ways of conceiving materiality.
A research laboratory that establishes a cross-disciplinary connection between design, art, technology, and other disciplines with the goal of finding less polluting materials, reflecting on the matter that surrounds us, where it comes from, and how we can rethink what we call waste.
